Inclusion Support

Clifton Street CC welcomes all families and children and supports all cultures, needs and abilities.  We have a network of services to support inclusive access to all children, including Melbourne University, City of Darebin,  Vic Deaf, Wurundjeri Council, Cerebral Palsy Education Centre (CPEC), Victorian Autism Specific Early Learning and Care Centre  Maternal and Child Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologists.  

We recognises that all children are holders of rights in themselves as expressed in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989)

Our educators are always furthering their knowledge, for example have recently undertaken professional development in the following areas:

  • Mental Health First Aid

  • The Cerebral Palsy 

  • Autism and Spectrum

  • Multiculturalism

  • Behaviour support and guidance

  • Nutrition

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives

  • Epilepsy
