How to join our waitlist?
Clifton St Children’s Centre manages our own waitlist and enrolment system for childcare placements. We will still be working with the Darebin Council Central Waitlist for 3 and 4 year-old Funded Kindergarten placements.
Joining our Childcare waitlist is a very simple process through our MyLounge portal below (you may already be using the portal at your out of school hours care or childcare).
If you already have a MyLounge account please login below and create a new booking request. You will receive an email immediately after you have lodged your booking request.
If this is your first time using the MyLounge portal, please click on the Register button below and create an account. You will use this account in the future to manage your waitlist application as well as any future enrolments.
Please ensure that you click on the NEW REQUEST button and complete this section, this is the information that is necessary for your to join our waitlist.
Please keep your login details in a safe place as you will need to log in if you wish to change any of your waitlist information in the future. It is important that you keep your waitlist application up to date.
Kindergarten Enrolments
If you are seeking a 3 or 4 year old Funded Kindergarten placement we are part of the Darebin Council Kindergarten centralised enrolment system for funded kindergarten. Lodging an application for a Funded Kindergarten Placement is done through the Darebin Centralised Enrolment Portal by clicking on this link https://darebincentralenrolments.councilonline.com.au/Public/Login.aspx However, if you already have a child enrolled at Clifton Street Children’s Centre, you will be given a preference for your child to be offered a Funded Kindergarten place in our Integrated Kinder Program when your child is eligible. Kindergarten applications are open from March of the year before a child intends to attend kindergarten, first round offers are made in July-August each year.

Tours
Meet the Clifton Street team
A tour of Clifton Street CC will allow you to meet some of our highly dedicated educators, learn about our philosophy, get to see and feel what the centre is like and watch educators and children interacting. Tours run for approximately 30 minutes and are by appointment.
Please contact the centre on 03 9486 3299 to book in your tour. Please note that we do not conduct tours during Term 1 unless your child has been offered a place. Term 1 is a time when we put all our emphasis on ensuring smooth transitions for children and families and building strong relationships.
We are excited to be a part of Darebin Twilight Kindergarten Open Evenings. We invite you to come and meet our Management and Kindergarten Teachers, visit our rooms and ask any questions you have.
Fees
2023 FEES – $139 PER DAY
We aim to keep our fees affordable. As of January 2023, our fees are $139 per day. Our fees are reviewed by the Committee of Management in accordance with educator wages and other costs associates with providing high quality early years education and care. Families will be given notice and reasoning before any fee increase takes effect.
Prior to commencing at the service please contact Centrelink to determine whether your family is eligible to receive the Childcare Subsidy (CCS), these entitlements may reduce your child’s fees.
